Our services are of high standards and quality, evidence based on new research and information. The diversity of activities and projects enable young people to develop life skills, access education, training and employment. Personal growth is enhanced and young people  develop a greater sense of independence and self confidence. We will ensure that religious and cultural needs are met.

Accommodation

Partnerships & Working together

  • Support and access to apprenticeships, training and education.

  • We will help identify colleges, courses and employment opportunities.

  • We will help assist you with completing application forms and CV and interview practice.

  • Accessing recreational activities and clubs (sports/music/creative arts)

  • Assistance with maintaining contact with family and friends.

  • GreenlightCYP offers accommodation within a clean, friendly and a homely environment with staff on site. Photos of accommodation can be viewed by young people.

  • Young people can decorate their own rooms.

  • We will provide  starter pack that provides daily living essentials. Including an arrival and sleep pack for our UASC young people

  • The accommodation will have staff on site 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

  • We will be responsible for all general repairs and maintenance.

  • We will continue to build partnerships with professionals/agencies to give you access to a network of support.

  • We will work closely with the local authority and social work team to ensure you have access to the services that meet your needs

  • Assisting with religious and cultural observances

  • Reporting repairs and maintenance issues

  • Assisting with organising social events

  • Every month your keyworker will submit a report about how you have settled in, your progress, opportunities identified, your strengths and weaknesses and will provide you an opportunity to give your views and comments.

Health

Out Reach Services

Managing Budgeting and Independence

  • Registering with the local GP, dentist and optician etc

  • We will ensure you are aware of the location of the nearest hospital, NHS walk in health centre, sexual health clinic, meeting LAC nurses alcohol, drug and substance misuse service, One–stop information service and other services requested.

  • Accessing specialist counselling services, professional help and/or other agencies

  • Arranging and attending appointments.

  • Liaising with social worker, doctors, family etc.

  • Dealing with emotional difficulties (stress/anxiety)

  • Monitoring and supervising the use of prescribed medication though prompting

  • Arranging prescriptions and medication collection from the pharmacy.

  • We offer our Outreach services and support to young people in their home and in a semi- independent environment.

  • This includes young people living in foster care, family homes or semi independant accomodation facilities

  • GreenlightCYP Outreach teams receive regular training and supervision in order to ensure they are able to offer a high quality service to young people on all levels, 24 hours a day with the young person as priority.

  • Assistance with budgeting for food, bills, clothing, recreation etc.

  • Assistance with welfare benefits, forms, bills, etc.

  • Opening up a bank account

  • Assistance with preparing shopping lists, shopping and preparing meals

  • Understanding the importance of nutrition and hygiene

  • Help with cleaning home/room, making bed, laundry, ironing etc.

  • Prompting and guidance with daily personal hygiene routines

  • Health & Safety advise on kitchen and home operating & maintaining kitchen equipment.

  • Advise on fire safety, food hygiene and storage

  • Support developing life skills and confidence.
